Chemical Peel

Conveniently located to serve Orange County

We perform medical grade chemical peels in Orange County using compound acids available only to physician directed medical centers. Studies have proven that combining a peeling agent with microdermabrasion, a mechanical exfoliation, is by far a more effective way to improve your skin’s appearance than peeling alone. This combination, called a Micropeel, is most beneficial in the elimination of the skin’s top dead cells and in allowing further penetration of nutrients and moisturizers into the skin.

Your Chemical Peel Consultation

During the consultation, you will tell us about your goals and expectations for the treatment. We will ask you about your medical history, including any history of cold sores or scarring.

After determining that you are a good candidate for a chemical peel, we will discuss how many treatment sessions you will need. We will also talk about the chemical peel agents we use and the essential pre- and post-op instructions you should follow to care for yourself and your skin.

Aftercare

The recovery after a chemical peel differs from one person to the next. You might suffer from breakouts, usually during the first two weeks, and you will be especially prone to getting a sunburn.

It is important to follow all post-op instructions and to use creams, ointments, or steroids as directed. You might also need to follow a specific skincare regimen to facilitate your skin’s recovery.

After getting a chemical peel, you may be asked to avoid wearing makeup, avoid the sun for two weeks, and wear sunblock with at least SPF30.

The Cost of a Chemical Peel

The cost of a chemical peel varies depending on the number of sessions required to reach your skin goals, the price of anesthesia, any ongoing treatments, and the type of peel.
